ATLANTA, GA (October 22, 2007) - The Great Falls Explorers, who had lost down the stretch to the Atlanta Krunk the previous night, avenged that 15 point defeat and gained their first victory of the season with a gutty performance. The final score was 96-89.
The game was sparsely attended for the second night in a row, as the Super Bowl Champion Indianapolis Colts were being hosted by the Atlanta Falcons only a few blocks away at the Georgia Dome.
After the Krunk got a thunderous dunk from their leading scorer Miguel Millian that seemed to ignite the 100 plus in attendance, The Explorers
remained undaunted and recaptured the lead and never looked back in the fourth quarter. They caused several turnovers by their host opponents that
lead to several easy baskets and free throws down the stretch. The Explorers are now 1-3 and continue on their road trip to face Oklahoma on
Tuesday the 27th of November, while the Krunk fall to 2-2 under new Head Coach Kenny Anderson. The Krunk will remain at home for the next three games where they face Albany's Patroons in a rematch of opening weekend opponents. The two split the series in Albany. On Wednesday, November 28th, the Krunk play host to the Minot SkyRockets at the John H. Lewis Gymnasium on the campus of Morris Brown College.
