Former Explorer Makes NBA Training Camp Roster

GREAT FALLS, MT – October 4, 2007 - A year after Brad Stricker signed his contract to join the Great Falls Explorers in their inaugural season, he has been signed to join the Denver Nuggets of the NBA.

Stricker, a 6’11” 280 lb. center from Georgia State has had a long career overseas and in the minor leagues which has finally helped him reach his goal of an NBA contract. Stricker played just three games for the Explorers last year before leaving the team due to injury and family concerns. In his short stint with the Great Falls CBA franchise, Stricker averaged close to double digits in scoring and rebounding. Brad was also a fan favorite due to his ability to play with finesse and power depending on the situation.

“Brad is a great player and a great person,” commented Explorers GM Ryan Acra, “we wish him the best of luck in camp, the Nuggets could find themselves with a solid player both on and off the court.”

Stricker received a partially guaranteed contract with Denver and will still have to prove himself in camp before he makes the team’s regular season roster. NBA teams can carry up to 15 players on their roster this season.
