Great Falls Explorers Hold CBA Rookie Draft Party

Great Falls, MT – September 25, 2006 – The Great Falls Explorers will be holding a party for the annual CBA Rookie Draft at The Halftime Sports Bar on Tuesday, September 26, 2006, at 6pm.  Admission is open to the public, and fans will have an opportunity to learn about the draft picks as well as meet Head Coach Steve Aggers.

Under CBA rules, each club is required to retain one rookie player on the active roster.  A rookie is a player who does not have any professional playing experience; therefore, most draftees are from NCAA Division I schools.

“This is an exciting start for the upcoming season,” said Head Coach Steve Aggers.  “We look forward to meeting the fans and have a successful draft.”
